Our Ingredients
We like to be clear about what goes into the products we make. From the waxes used in our candles and melts to fragrance oils, diffuser base and room mist ingredients, each one is chosen because it works well for that particular product.
Fragrance Oils Chosen for Each Product
We choose our fragrance oils from Australian suppliers and look at how each scent performs in the product it’s made for. Because candles, diffusers, room mists and wax melts all work differently, we use fragrance levels that suit each product and follow the supplier’s recommended usage and fragrance safety guidance.
What We Use in Each Product
Coconut Soy Candles
Coconut soy wax blend, fragrance oil and cotton wicks.
Soy Wax Melts
Soy wax, fragrance oil and a small amount of UV stabiliser to help reduce discolouration in some fragrances.
Reed Diffusers
Fragrance oil blended with a slow-evaporating diffuser base, used with black fibre reeds for continuous flameless fragrance.
Room Mists
Fragrance oil blended with a room mist base containing water and ethyl alcohol, creating a fine, even spray.
Beeswax Birthday Candles
100% Australian beeswax and natural cotton wicks.
Hanging Car Fresheners
Fragrance oil and DPG applied to an absorbent hanging card.
Why Different Products Need Different Formulas
Candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, room mists and hanging car fresheners all release fragrance in different ways, so they need different bases and fragrance levels. We choose each formula to suit the product it’s made for.
